The Hungarian Foundation For The Complex Research of Culture was established in 1995 in Miskolc. The institution is committed to give moral and financial support for researches in social sciences and cultural studies – focusing especially on the culture and contemporary social problems of the region, the ethnic groups and subcultures living here. In addition, the Foundation aims to facilitate social research carried out by means of visual techniques (documentary, video, photo). As a producer, the Foundation gives significant support for young filmmakers in shooting anthropological films and documentaries.
