Art Doc is one of the few independent companies in Romania, which is specialized mainly on documentary film production. It was founded in 2004 by Ileana Stanculescu who has produced already three long documentaries: “Podul peste Tisa” (The Bridge), “Satul şosetelor” (Village of Socks) and “Akhmeteli 4”. The films have been selected by important festivals like IDFA, Visions du réel, HotDocs, Moscow International Film Festival, Sarajevo Film Festival, etc. “Podul peste Tisa” has been also broadcast on YLE (Finland) and Fox International (Italy).
