The Cinema Filmworkshop, Magyarkanizsa was established in 2002 with the residence in Magyarkanizsa, Fő tér 9. (Kanjiža, Glavni trg br. 9., Serbia) with the aims to: - organise different feature film festivals, - show domestic and foreign film production, - produce documentaries, short and full-length feature films, - cooperate with organisations dealing with film art, - maintain the regional cooperation with the film organisations in the neighbouring and other countries, - promote and work on advancement of film art … Before the establishment of this organisation many young artists from Magyarkanizsa and its surroundings made a few documentary and feature films. The activities of the young film authors continuously required the organisational form, so that the civil organisation the Cinema Filmworkshop, Magyarkanizsa, was established during 2002.
