Utopia filmes was founded by Alexandre Valente in 2004. Since 2005 the company has produced 2 fiction feature films, and several short fiction films in co-production with the state tv channel RTP. In 2006 it started producing advertisements as well as music videos. In 2006 Valente worked a co-producer on the company’s first documentary “A Ilha da Boa Vida”.
