In the streets of Kinshasha, capital of D.R. Congo, more than 15.000 children between the age of 10 to 15 years old are trying to survive. Seven out of ten of them are been thrown out of their homes with the accusation of witchcraft. Lately, debatable pastors who claim themselves as “prophets” have instituted hundreds of small churches in the poor city suburbs providing services of exorcism of these little “witches”, for a huge fee. Most of these children are kept in the churches under awful conditions and almost as hostages until their families collect the amount of money needed for the exorcism. The creators of the documentary reveal cruel images of the torture and the abuse of these ceremonies of “exorcism”. They meet families that are accused of witchcraft and little boys and girls whom their parents threw in the street. While in western world films and books for a little witch as a hero are selling out and become best sellers, some other children are struggling to survive from superstition and selling out of faith.
