Jelenetfotó 3.3Ubu buur tells the genesis of the Senegalese version of Ubu the king by Teatro delle Albe. Through the radio interviews of Mandiaye N'Diaye, historical actor of the company of Ravenna, we follow the whole story of Ubu, the mask that is the symbol, in the theatre of the XX century, of a power universally violent and stupid. The shooting of the reharsals and of some scenes of the show mix to the images of the savanna and the Senegal landscapes, rendering the experience lived by the company in the village of Diol Kadd, where people take the water from the well, there is no electricity, but Dyonisos, the god of the theatre, appears in its exuberant energy.
